about

BTARCH+ is an established New York City architecture firm with a mission to design buildings and environments of exceptional quality. Together with WZA+ and ZITRONDESIGN+, BTARCH+ leads a collective of interdisciplinary professionals who fuse architecture, interior design and product design with a strong graphic aesthetic and branding knowhow. This results in effective and innovative solutions, which blur boundaries between respective disciplines.

Transparency is a core value, which informs both our design process and our excellent relationships with clients. This openness combined with a holistic understanding of the construction process and solid relationships with construction professionals allows us to deliver beautiful, efficient and timeless projects.

Sustainability is a key component of the firm’s design philosophy. Our work responds to global challenges by focusing on problem specific design solutions most appropriate to each project. We never forget that the best design is most often the simplest and the one with minimal impact on the natural environment. We pride ourselves on material selection driven by a desire to provide the healthiest interior environment possible and easily maintained buildings, which age gracefully.

We are enthusiastic about architecture and believe that challenging project briefs are the fuel for success.

The majority of our work is located within the five boroughs of New York City, and thus subject to stringent review by the NYC Department of Buildings as well as in many cases the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission. We are well versed in the approvals process whether it involves a simple alteration or a change of occupancy application and have prepared extensive, detailed documentation of historical features for Landmarks submittals and public hearing presentations.
